I've have enjoyed watching you through this journey. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thank you for your support, girl. It was definitely a personal choice and I'm just much happier for it.
Wow now thats something to be proud of. Congratulations!
Thank you, girl. I just feel good physically, you know? I didn't think I felt bad before, but didn't know exactly what I was missing either. Thanks for being so supportive!

You look amazing!!!!!!! :)
You're an inspiration, hon. *hugs* You look wonderful.
Even thought i remember the original picture times and ive seen some of the progress shots as time has gone on, i was totally shocked at the last few... You have lost TONS of weight - and im soooo impressed. Well Done you :)
First of all, thank you!
Yes, I don't notice it as much unless I look back at old pictures either. Most of my friends who haven't seen me in the while do the freak out at first...but the ones who see me all the time will look back and say "you weren't that big, were you?" I didn't think that I was even back then.
You are doing great in working-out. You never seemed out of shape, but you are taking the steps to ensure you never get there. Keep it up as you know how worth it exercise is!
You know what i'm going to say, you look wonderful. Your progress is remarkable and you did an awesome job girl.
I like your new icon.
..and yeah, I know what you are going to say. You want my bod-bod! LMAO! Just kidding, girl.
See you tonight for coffee time/excellent *plays air guitar* LOL!
Don't mind me. It has been a good day and I'm crazy!
Wow... you're really an inspiration to me. I'm just starting my weight loss journey, 17 pounds lost and 73 to go, but those pictures gave me some serious motivation. :) Congratulations, you look great.
Thank you. That is an awesome start and we all have to start somewhere. Good luck as I know you can do it!

We are very proud of you
We love you and are very proud of you. You are such a strong and determined woman. We all knew you would reach your goal. But we all thought you were beautiful, before and after. Now that you have reached your goals,, happy and loving marriage with Matt, a caring mother to the 'Don' and the ability to make us, your family, so very proud of you.You go girl...............your life is full.
Thank you Aunt C! I love y'all!
I just think that you are amazing. There are so many other options for people to lose weight these days. I'm proud of you for doing it the right way. You are an inspiration! :)
Thank you, girl. That was awesome to hear.
Yes, I am happy that I did it with eating right and exercise. I don't have anything against WL surgery other than the fact that I am afraid of going under the knife and would like to avoid it as long as I possibly can. The other issue is that a lot of people who get the surgery (that are able to walk and move still with their weight) often gain it back within 10 years because they start to eat more over time and never start an exercise routine. Not all of them, but a good number. Fortunately, I have started exercise from the beginning and changed my eating habits right away. It hasn't always been easy, but it is a routine now. In fact, I love working out. My husband would even say that I'm "addicted" to it. I guess there could be worst addictions, right? Haha!
You are beautiful. You were before and you are now. You are such an inspiration. I cannot wait to start seeing my weight loss.
You're right, this is a life style change. I keep telling myself that it isn't a diet, we're changing for good. It's not always easy, but what habit is easy to kick?
Thank you so much, girl! I think a lot of people are beautiful regaurdless of their weight. I don't notice it on other people because I was always too busy putting myself down. I do that even now sometimes, but less often.
Ain't that the truth! It is a tough change that gets better. Once you create the new habit, the old ones dies ..hard, but it does die! LOL
Good luck to you and I'm always here for you (as I'm sure you will be for me).
Wow, what an incredible transformation. I am so inspired by your hard work! I am on my way, and being reminded that it actually IS possible is so wonderful for me.
I have a couple of questions for you ... do you find that you have a lot of excess tummy skin? I started at 230 and I'm now down to 219, with a goal weight of 135 or so. My husband and I want to start having kids soon, and I know I need to wait for any tummy tucking until after, but I'm nervous about what to expect with excess skin. I do a lot of cardio combined with weight training, and so far it's going really well.
Anyway, you're an amazing inspiration, and I look forward to seeing you get to your goal weight!! Thank you so much for sharing these!
Thank you again! You are VERY added back.
As for he excess skin question, it is a matter of a few factors (as I'm sure you already know). How long you have been overweight, genetics, how fast you lose the weight, how you lose the weight, and age. You are young and that is great for the elasticity of your skin. In my personal experience, I did have skin trying to keep up with my 2lb a week loss, but I wasn't doing weights until about 3 months ago. In this short 3 months of weight training added to my cardio, I have seen a great deal of shrinkage. My husband comments on how great things are looking. I even had a friend (who I hadn't seen since Earlier this year) tell me how great my arms looked. I couldn't tell you what to expect, but I can say that since you have been doing a good amount of cardio mixed with weight training this early in the game, you will see less problems than I saw. My wish is that I could have started the weights back when I started this journey, but I hated them back then. Now, I LOVE them and get excited to go to the YMCA just to do them. Yeah, I'm a freak! LOL
As for the *ahem* other question(sorry, I have to be PG in a public entry as I do have famiy reading this). I will say that my husband seems to want me more and it is better as certain angles can be achieved more easily now. Besides that, my husband has taken to weight training and it has helped him in certain areas. *wink wink*nudge nudge*
As for being picked up, it doesn't happen during that time...but he has in front of friends and family picked me up recently to prove he is a man. LOL
Good luck and thanks for the add! It will be fun getting to know you.
You look awesome!
What was your diet? I am using you as inspiration! You look wonderful! =)
Thank you, girl!
Basically, I cut down to 1500 calories a day. I eat fast food, chocolate, and all the goods that I want (mixed in with some healthy). It is all about the calories and as much exercise as one can fit into their daily life.
Thanks and I really wish you luck! =D
I'm sure you get it all the time, but you really do look fabulous, and you're an incredible inspiration to all of us looking to be more healthy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. It is still nice to hear, but how I feel is an even better feeling.
This is so awesome!! Not only do you look fantastic, but you've done so much to better your health. Whenever I would see people on advertisements who claimed to lose that much weight, I always thought they had to have had surgery. It was hard to believe. You've proven that it really takes a lot of determination and hard work, not surgery. You should send your story and photos to Jillian Michaels! There's a section on the site for success stories: Jillian Michaels - Submit Success Story
(opens in new window). I just thought you might be interested.
Thank girl! Apparently, it could be done. I was a skeptic at one time as well! LOL I submitted my story there. Thanks for giving me the site. The main reason to get this story out is because there are so many people who inspired me with their webpages. I'm happy to do the same. =D
